Following the success of the ‘Getting Better Together’ conference 2004, we are delighted to announce that the President of the European Committee of H.O.P.E (Hospital Organisation of Pedagogues in Europe) Gerd Schalk (Sweden) has chosen London to host the fifth International Conference on Hospital Education.
The conference will be opened by Professor Al Aynsley-Green, the first Commissioner for children in the UK, and will take place on 2nd, 3rd and 4th November 2006 at the Institute of Child Health, London WC1 and will focus on the following two areas:
Every Child Matters This new legislation focuses on the holistic needs of the child and young person and sets clear guidance for multi-agency and multi-disciplinary working.

Tickets will cost £250 including lunch(es) and there will be a full social programme exploring some of the venerable sites of London on offer. Tickets will go on sale on 1st March 2006 and can be purchased through this website. There are 250 places available and tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
